The Galley Café

This is my 1st time coming here, I got the recommendations from Google reviews & trip advisor.What a lovely little gem of a cafe this is!!The food is all cooked fresh to order & you can really tell!We went there as a family of 4 adults & 3 children & they accommodated us just fine, the seating was very comfortable & the range of food was perfect.Even though the food was perfect, hands down my favourite part of the cafe had to be are waitress Sheila, who you can see in one of the photos with me! She really is the life & soul of the place!What a lovely lady Could I fault the place for anything??? Well, no, to be honest, it ticks all the boxes that you would want from a cafe.I would recommend The Galley Café to anyone wanting some good honest grub, wherever it be a full-on home cooked meal, a breakfast or just a snack.Plus, I had a cappuccino & the wife had a milkshake. What were both amazing, too!It was my first time visiting Burnham On Sea & the next time we visit will 100% be coming back to this cafe

Discovered the Galley on TripAdvisor before our spontaneous daytrip to Burnham on Sea. Lovely place with a friendly greeting. We sat down & ordered just before 2pm not realising that they shut at 2pm. We made our apologies & the staff were lovely & told us not to rush. The food was lovely & great value for money. My husband had the full English & stated that it was the best he'd ever had.Highly recommended & we will be back if visiting Burnham on Sea.

Excellent breakfast, pleasant staff and good atmosphere. Lovely.

First visit with wife and friend. We ordered two steak pie one with roast potatoes and veg one with chips. I had cheese and ham toastie. All were delicious and service was great with very competitive pricing.Will be eating here again.

A good traditional proper cafe, great breakfast, good coffee, good tea, proper service, no bells whistles or pretentiouns. Server was as honest as she should be. Cash only but seems to be the way in Burnham. Thank you we will be back

This is a great intimate Café/restaurant We enjoyed great Breakfast ; the menu said to me ‘Value for money meals served all day’- it didn’t say that in so many words but that’s what I translated the dishes on offer to say.If you are in the area you could do a lot worse.And to the Toilets- clean and fresh!Well done
